5 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD INCLUDe ORGAN MEATS IN YOUR DIET!
Our ancestors knew how nutrient dense organ meats were. They knew how to consume the whole animal…..bones, organs, meat and the fat. When I was little, my parents used to eat organ meats….brain, liver, kidney….but over time there has been a move away from eating organ meats and a push towards processed junk foods, and as such, the health of humans has decreased.
We need to get back to how our ancestors used to eat, by consuming bone broths, eating organs, and using tallow or lard to cook with.
5 REASONS TO EAT ORGAN MEATS
Organ meats are known for being the most nutrient dense parts of an animal.
When an animal kills another animal in the wild, the first parts of the animal they eat are the organs. Animals know by following their instinct. They know which parts are the most nutritious. They don’t eat a lean piece of meat first!!
It was traditionally believed that if there was an issue with an organ in your body, eating that organ of an animal was meant to be healing. For example, eating the heart of a strong, healthy animal was believed to help maintain the health and strength of the human heart.
The vitamins and minerals in organ meats are bioavailable which means they are very well absorbed. Moreso than from plant foods.
High in the fat soluble vitamins, including vitamins A, D and K2, as well as vitamin B12. Many people today have low levels of vitamins A and D. These vitamins help support our immune system and have numerous roles in the body. Eating a low fat or vegan or vegetarian diet, puts you at risk of not getting enough of these vitamins.
WHY CHOOSE LIVER, HEART & KIDNEY CAPSULES OR POWDER?
Liver is high in iron, and vitamins A, D and B12, plus many other nutrients. It is a natural wholefood so more bioavailable and beneficial than taking iron supplements.
Heart is a good source of many important nutrients including coenzyme Q10, iron, zinc, selenium, B2 (Riboflavin), B6 (Pyridoxine), B9 (Folate), and B12 (Cobalamin). The nutrients contained in the heart support the function of the heart as well as the entire cardiovascular system. It has also been shown to support cognitive function, energy levels, and natural immunity.
Kidney is a good source of vitamin B12, vitamin K2, riboflavin, thiamine, selenium and iron.
ALWAYS KNOW THE QUALITY & SOURCE OF THE ORGANS AND MEAT YOU EAT!
